The Great Carolina Cook-Off

UNC’s food-related organizations are cooking up their best recipes and competing to win YOUR vote!

What is the Great Carolina Cook-Off?
It's a cooking contest, and you get to be a judge! As a participant, you will receive 8 tickets and a token. Each competing organization will have prepared samples for you to enjoy for the exchange of one ticket. After you’ve exchanged all eight tickets, you’ll use your token to vote on who you believe created the best fare. The group with the most tokens at the end of the night will win bragging rights, cash money, and a highly coveted trophy. 

Molly De Marco will give a special presentation on the issues of food access in North Carolina at 7:30 P.M. Dr. De Marco is a Research Assisant Professor of Nutrition, Research Scientist at the UNC Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention, and a member of the UNC Food for All Committee.

Tickets are $5 and can be bought online here, at the Union Box Office, in the Pit (March 27-30, 10AM-2PM), or for $6 at the door. RSVP on Facebook!
